Installing without a script tag

Some website builders remove <script> tags from anything you paste. There is an iframe version of the widget for exactly that case — but read this first.

The snippets are below. They are also what the widget builder generates, so you may arrive here holding one already.

<iframe src="https://rentx.al/embed/search?embed=true&locale=en&partner=your-partner-id&linkId=homepage"
title="RentX car rental search"
width="100%" height="460" loading="lazy"
style="border:0; display:block;"></iframe>
<iframe src="https://rentx.al/embed/search?embed=true&locale=en&partner=your-partner-id&linkId=homepage&layout=panel"
title="RentX car rental search"
width="100%" height="640" loading="lazy"
style="border:0; display:block; min-width:300px;"></iframe>

Height is fixed. With the script tag, the widget tells your page how tall it needs to be, and the frame grows when the calendar opens. An iframe cannot do that, so the heights above are deliberately generous — tall enough for an open calendar. That leaves some empty space below the widget when the calendar is closed. If you shrink the height to remove it, the calendar gets cut off.

The panel still needs its 300px minimum width.

The options are the same as the script tag’s, but as query parameters, without the data- prefix, and in camelCase where the attribute has a dash:

Script attribute Iframe parameter
data-rentx-partner partner
data-car-type carType
data-full-insurance fullInsurance
data-source-id sourceId
data-link-id linkId
everything else the same name without data-

Keep locale on the URL — it decides which language the visitor lands in. For anything other than English the language also goes in the path: https://rentx.al/it/embed/search?….
