Quickstart

You need one line of HTML and somewhere on your site that accepts it.

Put this where you want the search to appear, with the two IDs from your Trackdesk account:

<script src="https://rentx.al/embed.js"
data-rentx-partner="your-partner-id"
data-link-id="your-link-id"
></script>

Both come from registering as a RentX affiliate.

That is the whole installation. The widget appears exactly where the tag sits.

You should see a search bar like this one:

What you should see after pasting the tag. Live widget, loaded from rentx.al — an empty box here means rentx.al is unreachable, not a broken page. Searching opens RentX in a new tab.

Try it: pick a city and some dates, then press the search button. RentX opens in a new tab with your search already filled in.

If nothing appeared, see Troubleshooting — the most common cause by far is a website builder that strips <script> tags. There is an iframe version for that case, but read its limitation before you use it.

Press the search button yourself. Look at the RentX address that opens: it must contain both sourceId= and linkId=.

https://rentx.al/rental?...&sourceId=your-partner-id&linkId=your-link-id

If either is missing, the booking will not be credited to you. See Earning with RentX.

If you run the widget in more than one place, each placement needs its own tracking link from Trackdesk so your reporting can tell them apart. See Earning with RentX.
